Baltimore's WBAL (NewsRadio 1090), WIYY (98 Rock) Raise Money For Local Flood Victims

HEARST CORPORATION BALTIMORE stations News/Talk/Sports WBAL (NEWSRADIO 1090) and Rock WIYY (98 ROCK), with the support of WBAL-TV and the BALTIMORE RAVENS, raised close to $20k on their live drive broadcasts this morning for victims of last weekend's devastating flood in ELLICOTT CITY, MD.
Listeners donated cash and purchased T-shirts -- proceeds of which benefit flood victims. T-shirts are selling on line (via wbal.com and 98online.com) at a rate of 100 shirts per hour today.
