TuneIn Partners With Westwood One For Olympics Coverage

TUNEIN announced a partnership with OLYMPICS rights holder NBCUNIVERSAL to carry WESTWOOD ONE’s coverage of the XXXI OLYMPIAD from RIO DE JANEIRO via stream and mobile app.
WESTWOOD ONE will provide short and long-form updates with highlights, analysis and results, plus live play-by-play of TEAM USA basketball (men’s and women’s), TEAM USA women’s soccer (plus men’s gold medal game) and OLYMPIC golf.
A division of NBC SPORTS GROUP, NBC OLYMPICS is responsible for producing, programming and promoting NBCUNIVERSALl’s OLYMPIC coverage. NBCUNIVERSAL has the broadcast rights in the USA for the OLYMPIC GAMES through 2032. Those rights run across all media platforms, including over-the-air television, subscription television, internet, and mobile. Throughout RIO 2016, TUNEIN will highlight NBC OLYMPICS’ unprecedented 6,755 hours of SUMMER GAMES coverage across the networks and digital platforms of NBCUNIVERSAL.
