KTSA/San Antonio's Elizabeth Ruiz Inducted Into San Antonio Radio Hall Of Fame

ALPHA MEDIA SAN ANTONIO's 30-year-plus News/Talk KTSA radio veteran ELIZABETH RUIZ was inducted into the SAN ANTONIO RADIO HALL OF FAME last SUNDAY (AUGUST 14th).
RUIZ is also a member of the TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME, SAN ANTONIO WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME, EDGE HALL OF FAME and FIESTA SAN ANTONIO's ORDER OF THE CASCARON. She has been honored as UNITED WAY's CULTURAL ARTS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR and is a recipient of the GOVERNOR'S YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS award. RUIZ is also an HONORARY KNIGHT with the ROYAL ROSARIANS of PORTLAND, OR.

The SOCIETY OF SAN ANTONIO RADIO BROADCASTERS is a social organization consisting of persons who worked as radio broadcasters in the city from 1950 through 1990. The HALL OF FAME was established in 2010 to recognize the accomplishments of radio broadcasters who worked in SAN ANTONIO from its earliest days in the 1920s to the current day.
