When BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP (BMLG)'s VALORY MUSIC CO. imprint decided to create an event around the launch of JUSTIN MOORE's "Kinda Don't Care" album, they knew there was only one route to take -- the road that leads directly to WAFFLE HOUSE. "We were on the bus with a few drinks, and one of the promotion guys at our label came to me, and then my publicist was there. One of them hated the idea," MOORE told ALL ACCESS. "But, I was like, 'WAFFLE HOUSE? I'm in. I'm in! That's awesome!' Any time I can white-trash, hillbilly, redneck it up, I'm all for it."
MOORE is following the WAFFLE HOUSE trail this week, and kicked off the celebration of "Kinda Don't Care" with a stop in LITTLE ROCK, AR on MONDAY (8/15). Last NIGHT (8/16), MOORE spent time playing new tunes and old favorites during his "Kinda Don't Care" honky tonk crawl, playing sets at HONKY TONK CENTRAL, RIPPY'S, and TOOTSIE'S WORLD FAMOUS ORCHID LOUNGE before taking over a NASHVILLE-area WAFFLE HOUSE with industry friends. MOORE even showed off his skills on the grill top, cooking up a WAFFLE HOUSE signature meal for BMLG Pres./CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA. "I'm actually a really good cook," MOORE told ALL ACCESS. "I cook at home a lot. I like bacon and eggs -- keep it traditional. I'm still trying to get my grandma's gravy down." MOORE might not have perfected his gravy recipe yet, but with a brand new album out and the lead single, "You Look Like I Need A Drink," comfortably in the top ten, it's probably safe to say that MOORE "Kinda Don't Care" if the gravy is lumpy.
MOORE made a stop in KNOXVILLE, TN this MORNING (8/17) on his way to CHARLOTTE, NC. The party will continue on the road, wrapping in INDIANAPOLIS on FRIDAY, AUGUST 19th as MOORE takes the stage at the INDY stop of BRANTLEY GILBERT's "TAKE IT OUTSIDE TOUR." Follow along on the road with MOORE as he celebrates the new album and serves up eggs and bacon at WAFFLE HOUSE restaurants along the way by searching the hashtag #KindaDontCare on FACEBOOK, TWITTER, and INSTAGRAM.
