Alicia Montgomery Named Editorial Director At WAMU/Washington

AMERICAN UNIVERSITY News-Talk WAMU/WASHINGTON has hired NPR CODE SWITCH project Supervising Senior Editor ALICIA MONTGOMERY as Editorial Director. Her experience includes helping develop NPR's "CODE SWITCH" podcast, production on "TELL ME MORE WITH MICHEL MARTIN," and reporting at SALON.COM.

WAMU is also adding NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO News-Talk WNYC-A-F/NEW YORK "THE TAKEAWAY" Exec. Producer RUPERT ALLMAN as Exec. Producer of the new show that is being developed to replace DIANE REHM's long-running show when it concludes at the end of the year. ALLMAN will join WAMU on SEPTEMBER 1st.
