PREMIERE NETWORKS and THEBLAZE host GLENN BECK's producer JOE WEASEL is refusing to name the sources whose information led to BECK's falsely accusing a student of being involved in the BOSTON MARATHON bombings.
POLITICO reports that attorney MICHAEL GRYGIEL, in a letter to U.S. District Court Judge PATTI SARIS sent on WEDNESDAY (8/24), said that WEASEL would not disclose the confidential sources "as a matter of fundamental journalistic integrity" As BECK has claimed, GRYGIEL asserted that the sources could meet with "substantial harm" if identified, even though SARIS has offered to keep the sources' names out of the court record and place a gag order on all parties in the case preventing the disclosure of the names.
On AUGUST 9th, SARIS ordered BECK and WEASEL to disclose the names of the Homeland Security employees who allegedly offered evidence to WEASEL of ABDULRAHMAN ALHARBI's financial backing of the attack, a claim that was proven false.
