CMT Announces 'Artists Of The Year'

CMT-TV will honor LUKE BRYAN, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, THOMAS RHETT, CHRIS STAPLETON, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD as the top Country artists of 2016 during its "CMT Artists Of The Year" special. Additionally, KELSEA BALLERINI has been selected to receive the second-annual "Breakout Artist Of The Year" honor. Each of the artists will be celebrated at the seventh annual "CMT Artists Of The Year" special, premiering from the SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER in NASHVILLE on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20th at 8p (ET/PT).

The Artists Of The Year will be honored with never-before-seen performances during the 90-minute television special. Additional awards, performers, and special guests will be announced at a later date.
