APM/MPR's Buzenberg Joins Center For Public Integrity

Veteran public radio news executive BILL BUZENBERG has joined the CENTER FOR PUBLIC INTEGRITY, the investigative journalism organization, as Executive Director, replacing interim Executive Dir. WENDELL "SONNY" RAWLS JR. RAWLS remains at the CENTER as Dir. of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
BUZENBERG joins the CENTER from AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA-MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO, where he has been serving since 1998 as SVP of News. He was VP of News and Information at NPR from 1990-97 after serving in various capacities at the network since 1978, including reporter, Foreign Affairs Correspondent, LONDON Bureau Chief, and Managing Editor.
