KTAR/Phoenix Sets Celebrity Roast of Pat McMahon

PHOENIX radio and TV legend PAT MCMAHON will be honored by BONNEVILLE News-Talk KTAR/PHOENIX with a celebrity roast.  The "Tip of the Hat to PAT" roast will take place MARCH 15th at STAND UP LIVE in PHOENIX.  Country KNIX morning host TIM HATTRICK will serve as Roastmaster for the event, with ALICE COOPER and other local luminaries taking shots at MCMAHON.

"It's not often you find yourself in the presence of a radio and television icon, in particular one who has had the career longevity that PAT has experienced," said BONNEVILLE PHOENIX VP/Market Manager SCOTT SUTHERLAND.  "We couldn't think of a more fitting way to honor PAT than to subject him to a bit of good-natured ribbing."

MCMAHON, a longtime KTAR personality who is also beloved for his years playing various characters (notably, spoiled brat GERALD) on the legendary KPHO-TV children's show "WALLACE AND LADMO," said, "I'm feeling both honored and terrified at the prospect of this event.  But you can be sure that I'll be able to dish it out, just as well as I can take it."
