Sam Milkman Named President Of mediaEKG

SAM MILKMAN has been named Pres. of MEDIAEKG, a new PHILADELPHIA based research company.
MILKMAN comments, "We are entering a new world with PPMs rating us literally by the minute. MEDIAEKG studies the radio station's audience using the Internet, and the station's own database, to determine what is working and what may not be working on your morning show on a minute-by-minute, second-by-second basis. It's affordable and quick."
MEDIAEKG uses a new patent-pending technology that permits the collection and tabulation of audience responses over the Internet pertaining to a morning show or other radio program. In the past, radio stations have conducted focus groups and auditorium tests where listeners turn electronic "dials" to tell them whether they like a radio or TV show and the results are displayed graphically, looking something like an "EKG."
