WESTWOOD ONE's coverage of the 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four now has its announcer assignments.
English-language coverage will be handled by play-by-play man KEVIN KUGLER, former GEORGETOWN coach JOHN THOMPSON, and former OHIO STATE and INDIANA PACERS star CLARK KELLOGG, who will also be doubling as a TV studio analyst for CBS and TURNER. JIM GRAY will return as courtside reporter and BILL WALTON will offer his idiosyncratic analysis during the pre-game, halftime, and post-game segments.
The Spanish-language broadcasts (a first for WESTWOOD ONE this year) will be called by CLEVELAND CAVALIERS Spanish-language play-by-play voice and former UNIVISION RADIO personality RAFAEL "EL ACALDE" HERNANDEZ BRITO, former MARYLAND and NBA guard GRIEVIS VÁSQUEZ, and MLB NETWORK broadcaster CLEMSON SMITH MUÑIZ.
Announcers for earlier-round games include KUGLER, IAN EAGLE, GARY COHEN, TOM MCCARTHY, SCOTT GRAHAM, JOHN SADAK, BRANDON GAUDIN, CRAIG WAY, CHRIS CARRINO, and TED EMRICH, with analysts JIM JACKSON, KELLY TRIPUCKA, DAN DICKAU, ERIC MONTROSS, WILL PERDUE, MIKE MONTGOMERY, P.J. CARLESIMO, DONNY MARSHALL, and AUSTIN CROSHERE. JASON HOROWITZ and JON CRISPIN will anchor studio segments, with BRAD HELLER anchoring additional segments for satellite, online, and mobile platforms.
