LARRY STECKLINE's LS MEDIA, INC. is selling its 85% of KWLS RADIO, LLC, licensee of Classic Country KWLS (US 107.9)/WINFIELD-WICHITA, KS, to 15% partner MICHAEL and TINA ANDRA's GIDDYUP RADIO, LLC for $2.55 million ($425,000 cash, $2.125 million in a five year promissory note).
In other filings with the FCC, HECTOR VILLALOBOS' WOLFHOUSE RADIO GROUP, INC. is selling Spanish Religion KEXA/KING CITY-SALINAS, CA to DANIEL ALCANTAR's INSPIRATION MEDIA NETWORK, LLC for $775,000 ($155,000 in two installments, plus a $620,000 promissory note). The buyer has been operating the station since NOVEMBER under an LMA.
CLAMOR BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WJVP/CULEBRA, PR while a sale pends.
And ADVANCE MINISTRIES, INC has closed on the sale of K241AV/BAKER, CA to RUDEX BROADCASTING LIMITED CORPORATION for $35,000. The buyer plans to move the transmitter to rebroadcast KSDT-A/HEMET, CA.
