The Decemberists Announce Travelers’ Rest

THE DECMEBERISTS have announced the inaugural TRAVELERS’ REST, coming to BIG SKY BREWING COMPANY AMPHITHEATRE in MISSOULA, MT on AUGUST 12-13th. The two-day festival brings together more than 15 artists across two stages, curated by THE DECEMBERISTS.

THE DECEMBERISTS will be headlining both days of the festival,, with other confirmed artists announced including BELLE AND SEBASTIAN, THE HEAD AND THE HEART, SYLVAN ESSO, SHAKEY GRAVES, CHARLES BRADLEY AND HIS EXTRAORDINAIRES, REAL ESTATE and JULIEN BAKER.

THE DECEMBERISTS’ COLIN MELOY has a special connection to Montana -- born and raised in Helena he also attended the University of Montana in Missoul.

“Growing up, it drove me crazy how many national touring bands skipped MONTANA altogether," MELOY said. "I'm glad we can do our small part to bring more music to the area."?
