ENTERCOM Classic Rock KSWD (100.3 THE SOUND)/LOS ANGELES has announced a multi-year agreement with legendary radio personality RITA WILDE. She'll continue her evening shift that includes the popular "Album Side at 11" segment featuring the uninterrupted play of one full classic rock album side.
"RITA relates so well to rock fans because she is one," said THE SOUND PD DAVE BEASING. "RITA has seen more BRUCE and U2 concerts, among others, than anybody I know."
ENTERCOM LOS ANGELES VP/GM PETER BURTON added, "Classic Rock fans and artists have been listening to RITA since this music was new. We’re proud to have her at THE SOUND."
"THE SOUND is the kind of radio I love, so I"m thrilled to be here," saids WILDE. "We play the best music ever made and present it with creativity and originality."
WILDE is a SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA native who began her career at the former KEZY-F in ANAHEIM. She joined KLOS/LOS ANGELES in 1983 and in 2013, she joined THE SOUND as the evening on air host.
