ALPHA MEDIA/PORTLAND Triple A KINK raised $134,000 with a Radiothon for WORLD CONCERN “One Village Transformed,” produced by i58:10 MEDIA. The goal of the Radiothon was to establish 102 new donors and they were able to exceed their goal with 112 new donors.
KINK listeners have supported a three-year, three-stage plan to transform ABONGO, a SOUTH SUDAN VILLAGE, and help the 1,987 people living there survive and ultimately become self-sufficient through WORLD CONCERN.
KINK PD SEAN DEMERY said, “KINK was just the loud speaker used to amplify a worthy message. Thank you KINK listeners for caring. We are all connecting. Something good was created. Who can we all help next?”
WORLD CONCERN is a Christian humanitarian organization headquartered in SEATTLE that serves in 12 countries worldwide. More than 90% of all donations go directly to programs serving the people they work with including marginalized farmers, tribal people, orphans, and vulnerable women and children.
