KFXX (99.5 The Fox)/Klamath Falls, OR Debuts With Classic Hits Format

BASIN MEDIACTIVE debuted a new Classic Hits format with KFXX (99.5 THE FOX)/KLAMATH FALLS, OR, replacinng Rock KAGO (now 94.9 THE ROCK), which moves to 94.9 FM/ALTAMONT, OR.

THE FOX arrived yesterday stunting with 7,000 songs "from the '70s, '80s and more" in partnership with local merchant RELAX HOT TUBS AND MORE, who are giving away a hot tub at the close of the commercial-free promo.

PD JAY DAVIS stated, "We;ve been talking to the KLAMATH BASIN and found the right mix of music for the perfect at-work listening experience. It's also great for weekend parties."

Mornings at KAGO will now be anchored by PD and current midday host DAVIS in place of the syndicated "Free Beer And Hot Wings" show. 

Added DAVIS, "The timing was just right. With the frequency move it was time to make this change that we think is a much better fit for KLAMATH FALLS, focusing on local concerns and playing more music."
