LINKIN PARK's seventh studio album, "One More Light," just debuted at #1, their sixth release to do so. Only nine previous bands have scored at least six chart-topping albums, including THE BEATLES (19), THE ROLLING STONES (9), LED ZEPPELIN/U2 (7) and BON JOVI/DAVE MATTHEWS BAND/THE EAGLES/METALLICA (6).
WARNER BROS. RECORDS Pres. DAN McCARROLL said, "LINKIN PARK are always pushing themselves and pushing us to break new fresh creative ground, and this album is certainly no exception,"
LINKIN PARK promoted the album heavily, kicking off the week with a pop-up performance in a NEW YORK subway on "Good Morning AMERICA," before heading to L.A. to play the outdoor stage at "JIMMY KIMMEL Live!" along with a live performance at the iHEARTRADIO THEATER in BURBANK.
LINKIN PARK will now set out on the "One More Light" tour with MACHINE GUN KELLY, SNOOP DOGG and ONE OK ROCK, starting JULY 27th at BOSTON's XFINITY CENTER as well as a pair of co-headlining dates with BLINK-182 on "Welcome to BLINKIN PARK."
Every single full-priced ticket purchased for the tour includes a choice of a standard CD or standard digital copy of the "One More Light" album (a $10.99 value). A dollar from every full-priced ticket sold on the tour will benefit MUSIC FOR RELIEF, the charity foundation LINKIN PARK founded in 2005 to aid survivors of natural disasters and environmental protection.
