WBLI/Long Island Morning Team Lucky After Nasty Car Accident

Not Hurt!

COX Top 40 WBLI/LONG ISLAND wakeup duo COOPER LAWRENCE and ANTHONY MICHAELS were involved in a major car accident WEDNESDAY morning (6/28). The incident occurred while LAWRENCE and MICHAELS were on their way to work. Another driver sped through a red light slamming into the morning show team sending their car onto an embankment.  

MICHAELS had to be cut out of the car by the jaws of life, his car totaled. Both he and LAWRENCE were taken by ambulance to the emergency room at GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL on LONG ISLAND. Remarkably, the pair walked away from the incident with only minor injuries. They were back on the air live this morning
