Country Stars Answer Questions From Country Music Haters For BuzzFeed Video

The internet content tour de force, BUZZFEED, visited the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL last MONTH and took the opportunity to sit down with Country artists for a little Q&A. But, in true BUZZFEED style, they flipped the script and asked Country artists to answer questions from social media followers who hate Country music. Participants included DIERKS BENTLEY, RASCAL FLATTS, BRETT ELDREDGE, TRACE ADKINS, DUSTIN LYNCH, PHIL VASSAR, LAUREN ALAINA, BRETT YOUNG, and more.

What were the questions? We don't want to ruin all the fun, but here are some answers from a few of the artists: "Somebody needs to die, somebody needs to get laid, and you gotta say somethin' 'bout your momma," via ADKINS. "We aren't all singing about chicks and pickin' them up and puttin' them in the truck bed. I don't really think it would make sense for me to do that," said ALAINA. "I don't know what the natural inclination to push back against Country music is, but it's timeless, and it's not going away. So, give it a shot," remarked YOUNG. See the full video piece here.
