The CHATTANOOGA TIMES FREE PRESS is reporting that WFLI-A/CHATTANOOGA has returned to the air and will be programming a News-Talk format.
The station, which went silent in MARCH and was sold by YING HUA BENNS' WFLI, INC. to EVAN STONE and MARSHALL BANDY's TRI-STATE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $100,000, returned with a stunt Oldies format a week ago. The News-Talk format will include COURTSIDE's LAURA INGRAHAM, the syndicated DAVE RAMSEY and RICK AND BUBBA shows, SALEM's ERIC METAXAS, and FOX NEWS TALK's TODD STARNES, plus local news, talk and weather in mornings and Oldies on weekends, including replays of old DICK CLARK and CASEY KASEM countdowns. The new owners say they also want to convert the station's building into a national Top 40 museum.
