iHeartMedia Chicago Stations Present Cracker Barrel Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk For Sisters Network

IHEARTMEDIA CHICAGO’s Urban ACs WGCI and WVEE (V-103), along with Gospel WGRB (INSPIRATION 1390) are spearheading the inaugural CRACKER BARREL SISTA STRUT, a 3K breast cancer charity walk to benefit the CHICAGO CHAPTER of the SISTERS NETWORK, the nation's largest AFRICAN-AMERICAN breast cancer survivorship organization. SISTA STRUT will kick off at KROC CENTER CHICAGO, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th at 8a (CT). 

SISTA STRUT will bring awareness to the community resources that help prevent, detect and treat breast cancer, as well as teach attendees about breast cancer’s effects on the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community. In addition, on-air personalities from WGCI, WVEE and WGRB will promote the event on-air and discuss the best ways for the community to take advantage of the event’s resources.
