CAPITOL NASHVILLE's CARRIE UNDERWOOD and MCA NASHVILLE's SAM HUNT were among the winners at last NIGHT's (8/13) "TEEN CHOICE AWARDS," which were broadcast on FOX-TV. UNDERWOOD was the winner in the Choice Country Artist category, where her competition included HUNT, BLAKE SHELTON, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, KELSEA BALLERINI, LUKE BRYAN. HUNT walked away with the honors for Choice Country Song for "Body Like A Back Road" after beating out THOMAS RHETT's "Craving You" featuring MAREN MORRIS; SHELTON's "Every Time I Hear That Song;" KEITH URBAN's "The Fighter" featuring UNDERWOOD; FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE (FGL)'s "GOD, Your Mama, And Me" featuring BACKSTREET BOYS; and BRETT YOUNG's "In Case You Didn't Know."
Additionally, SHELTON deserves a mention in the winners' list, as NBC-TV's "The Voice" nabbed Choice Reality TV Show. Other Country artists who were nominated in all-genre categories on the night include HUNT, who was nominated in the Choice Song: Male Artist and Choice Summer Tour categories; SHELTON who landed a nomination for Choice Twit for his infamous TWITTER feed; BRETT ELDREDGE who was recognized as a nominee in the Choice Snapchatter category; and FGL, who earned nominations in the Choice Collaboration and Choice Summer Group categories.
