Podcast producer CROOKED MEDIA has launched another podcast as well as a "contributors network" of personalities and a new website.
The new podcast is "CROOKED CONVERSATIONS," described by the network's JON LOVETT, JON FAVREAU, and TOMMY VIETOR as "a place to discuss important and fascinating topics that don’t always make headlines, like the influence of money in elections, the role of sexism in politics, the future of jobs and automation, the changing way people get their news, and people who look at their phones during a movie."
The "CROOKED CONTRIBUTORS" network will be heard on a regular basis across CROOKED MEDIA podcasts, including "POD SAVE AMERICA," DAN PFEIFFER's "POD SAVE AMERICA," "POD SAVE THE WORLD," ANA MARIE COX's "WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE," DERAY MCKESSON's "POD SAVE THE PEOPLE," and LOVETT's own "LOVETT OR LEAVE IT." Besides PFEIFFER, COX, and MCKESSON, the contributors include author JULISSA ARCE, comic AKILAH HUGHES, DAILY BEAST writer IRA MADISON III and Senior Editor ERIN GLORIA RYAN, author ALYSSA MASTROMONACO, Republican strategist and anti-TRUMP Super-Pac "OUR PRINCIPLES" advisor TIM MILLER, CAMPAIGN ZERO co-founder BRITTANY PACKNETT, former OBAMA Deputy National Security Advisor BEN RHODES, Democratic strategist and former BERNIE SANDERS press secretary SYMONE SANDERS, data expert SAM SINYANGWE, and writer CLINT SMITH III.
And the website, CROOKED.COM, will be, according to the founders, "an arena for an honest and productive debate about American liberalism and how the Democratic Party should represent it." THE NEW REPUBLIC Senior Editor BRIAN BEUTLER is joining the company as Editor-in-Chief.
