The previously-undisclosed price for the sale by EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION of Christian AC WKHL (K-LOVE)/WEST LAFAYETTE, IN to WOOF BOOM RADIO LAFAYETTE LLC is $608,000 ($500,000 cash, $108,000 in a promissory note), according to the contract filed with the FCC. The deal was announced earlier this month without a price being attached (NET NEWS 10/4).
In other filings with the FCC, JUSTIN A MCLUCKIE is selling Silent KMYQ/NORTH ENGLISH, IA to MAHASKA MEDIA GROUP LLC's KMYQ MEDIA, LLC for $2,500 plus legal fees related to applying for an extension of the station's Silent STA past SEPTEMBER 28th to avoid the cancellation of the license.
CENTRO FAMILIAR CRISTIANO is selling K258BJ/EVERETT, WA to GERSON INFANTE-REINA for $100. The buyer will use the translator to rebroadcast Spanish Religion KLSY (93.7 FAMILIA FM)/MONTESANO, WA.
FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING SYSTEM has applied for an STA to operate Religion KFLT-A/TUCSON with reduced power of 25 kw nondirectional due to problems with its transmission system.

And WKNU RADIO, INC. has closed on the transfer of Country WKNU (COYOTE COUNTRY 106.3)/BREWTON, AL back to CAROL ELLINGTON's ELLINGTON RADIO, INC. after defaulting on payment of an $823,420 balance on payments for the station. ELLINGTON RADIO sold the station to WKNU RADIO, INC. in 2006 for $1,300,066 in 138 monthly payments at 6% interest plus $100 per month for rent.
Also, BUCKAROO BROADCASTING, LLC has turned in its license for K283AP/WINNEMUCCA, NV.
