WMMR/Philadelphia's Preston & Steve Ready 20th Annual Camp Out For Hunger

BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP Rock WMMR/PHILADELPHIA morning duo PRESTON & STEVE are about to start the 20th Annual PRESTON & STEVE CAMP OUT FOR HUNGER, which will take place from 6a on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27th through 11a on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1st, 2017. They will live in the parking lot of XFINITY LIVE! PHILADELPHIA, located at the SPORTS COMPLEX in SOUTH PHILLY, to solicit food donations from listeners and businesses in the area.
Dozens of local and national celebrities, performers, and athletes will be drop by to lend their support, including Senator CHRISTOPHER COONS (DE), ZACH ERTZ and BEAU ALLEN from the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES, KELLY RIPA, the ‘CITY 6’ College Men’s Basketball Coaches, M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN, and many more.
Donors will be treated to free coffee in the morning, along with breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the day. There will also be plenty of prizes and incentives, as well as multiple free events at night, including a PRESTON & STEVE Calendar Girl signing, a comedy night featuring DON JAMESON & JIM FLORENTINE, a family movie night and fun watch parties for SIXERS and FLYERS games.
In 2016, their efforts yielded over 580 tons of food. The 2017 results, combined with over $74,000 in unsolicited financial donations, yielded over 1.4 million meals for individuals facing hunger insecurity.
