CUMULUS Top 40/Rhythmic KWIN-KWNN/STOCKTON-MODESTO morning co-host AMANDA KING has retired from radio after 19 years at KWIN. KING is pursuing other career opportunities.
KWIN PD DANIAL 'JIGGY' DIAZ commented, "AMANDA has dedicated 19 years of her life not only to radio but to KWIN. We thank her for all that she has done not only for the station/brand but for our community."
KING added, "I knew the time would come for me to hang up my headphones and retire from radio, and here we are. What an amazing ride! Thank you KWIN for being my home for the past 19 years. Thank you for supporting me and allowing me to pursue my education while being employed here. I’ve grown in so many ways. It’s been a beautiful experience for me and I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for my KWIN family and our incredibly faithful listeners."
KING went on to say, "I hope that each of you are committed to choosing the life you want and that you follow your dreams, whatever they may be. Life is too short to not go all in for what you’re passionate about."
