ESPN RADIO's coverage of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship will include live broadcasts from ATLANTA and an alternate play-by-play of the game featuring one of the network's more prominent shows, as well as the regular play-by-play of the GEORGIA-ALABAMA matchup.
The network's GOLIC AND WINGO morning show (MIKE GOLIC and TREY WINGO with MIKE GOLIC JR.) will air live from the concourse at MERCEDES-BENZ STADIUM in ATLANTA MONDAY morning (1/8), joined by BOOGER MCFARLAND, TODD MCSHAY, MARIA TAYLOR, and DAVID POLLACK (and the public, which can attend the broadcast live). In addition, SATURDAY's MARTY AND MCGEE show (MARTY SMITH and RYAN MCGEE), with guest BEN HARTSOCK will be broadcast from ATLANTA.
THE DAN LE BATARD SHOW WITH STUGOTZ will be one of the five different productions of the game broadcast on ESPN, with LE BATARD and JON "STUGOTZ" WEINER, along with their staff, offering live commentary from their studios at THE CLEVELANDER on MIAMI BEACH's SOUTH BEACH. All five commentary tracks in ESPN's MegaCast of the game will air in a six-box on ESPN3 (including the actual live game coverage), and the LE BATARD track and others in the "Voices" option will be available live streaming on ESPN3 or the ESPN app.
While STUGOTZ will be in MIAMI, his SUNDAY morning "WEEKEND OBSERVATIONS" co-host GOLIC JR. will be in ATLANTA for this week's show; also splitting locations will be SATURDAY's DARI AND MEL show, with DARI NOWKHAH in ATLANTA while MEL KIPER JR. is back in the ESON RADIO studio, joined by the SEC NETWORK's PETER BURNS.
The official ESPN RADIO play-by-play will begin with studio coverage on-site at 6:30p hosted by MARC KESTECHER and TREVOR MATICH, followed by the game itself at 8p (ET) with SEAN MCDONOUGH and TODD BLACKLEDGE on the call and IAN FITZSIMMONS and HOLLY ROWE as sideline reporters.
