Rick Sudakoff Celebrates 40 Years With Atlantic Records

In a business full of turnover, it's pretty rare to be able to wish anyone a happy 10th, 20th or even 30th anniverary in the biz. But ATLANTIC RECORDS/CHICAGO Promo Guru RICK SUDAKOFF is actually celebrating 40 years at the same company! 

In 1977, SUDAKOFF was hired for his first promo job with SPRINGBOARD RECORDS INTERNATIONAL. Later in '77 he was hired to do promo at MCA. In 1978 he was tapped by DICKIE KLINE and VINCE FARACI at ATLANTIC RECORDS -- where he has been part of the family for 40 years.

Some key people in SUDAKOFF’s career were JERRY GREENBERG, DICKIE KLINE, MICHAEL,KLEFNER, VINCE FARACI, PAUL FISHKIN, ROY CHIOVARI, ANDREA GANIS, JASON FLOM, STEVE ELLIS and LYOR COHEN.

It's an amazing achievement in the music business. Happy anniversary -- and a big congrats -- to RICK SUDAKOFF, celebrating his 40th year at ATLANTIC RECORDS TODAY (1/8).
