Garrison Keillor, Minnesota Public Radio In Mediation Over Terms Of Separation

MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO has confirmed that it and former "A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION" host GARRISON KEILLOR are in mediation over the latter's departure in NOVEMBER amidst allegations of "inappropriate behavior" while hosting the show.  KEILLOR initially disclosed the negotiations in a Facebook post FRIDAY, and the network confirmed to its own MPR NEWS department that the talks are ongoing.

In a statement emailed to MPR NEWS, KEILLOR's lawyer ERIC NILSSON said that the company and the host are talking about issues related to transition of their business relationship," a characterization repeated by MPR spokesperson ANGIE ANDRESEN in a separate statement.
