As tipped here a couple of days ago (NET NEWS 1/24), ENTERCOM/SACRAMENTO has appointed VINCE RICHARDS OM. Succeeding JIM FOX, who was recently named VP/Music Programming for ENTERCOM/DALLAS, RICHARDS will oversee programming for the cluster’s six stations: Active Rock KRXQ (98 ROCK), Alternative KKDO (RADIO 94.7), Top 40/Mainstream KUDL (106.5 THE END), Classic Rock KSEG (EAGLE 96.9), Top 40/Rhythmic KSFM and Sports KIFM-A (ESPN RADIO 1320).
“We are excited to be partnering with a leader like VINCE that can take an already successful group of brands to even greater heights,” ENTERCOM/SACRAMENTO SVP/Market Manager LANCE RICHARD said. “I’m confident that with his experience and vast programming knowledge, our SACRAMENTO stations will continue to shine.”
“SACRAMENTO is one of the crown jewel markets in the company with a tradition of excellence and an incredibly talented and passionate staff,” said RICHARDS, formerly National OM at TOWNSQUARE MEDIA. “Thanks to PAT PAXTON, DAVE RICHARDS and LANCE RICHARD for passing me the torch and the opportunity to lead this awesome staff.”
