CRS In Action: Tuesday Morning Mentoring Breakfasts And On-Air Talent Mentoring Happy Hour

COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) 2018 launched its second day, and first full day, of agenda items this morning with the return of two popular Mentoring Breakfasts, the Programming Mentoring Breakfast and the Sales Mentoring Breakfast, and an addition of a third, the Label Mentoring Breakfast. The three breakfasts were held concurrently from 7:30a (CT) until 8:30a (CT), and attendees were given the opportunity to meet with mentors, ask questions, and seek advice from seasoned professionals in their field while fueling up for the day with a morning meal.

In the newly-created Label Mentoring Breakfast, mentors included: BROKEN BOW RECORDS' JIM MALITO; WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's KRISTEN WILLIAMS; CAPITOL NASHVILLE's ANNIE SANDOR; and EMI NASHVILLE's JIMMY RECTOR.

The day concluded with an On-Air Talent Mentoring Happy Hour from 4:30p (CT) until 5:30p (CT), wherein on-air talent had the opportunity to speak with the following mentors across multiple genres and formats: WRPT/NASHVILLE's BRADEN GALL; SILVERFISH MEDIA's nationally syndicated "BIG D & BUBBA" and "COUNTRY WITH CARSEN" hosts; KUPL/PORTLAND, OR's DANNY DWYER; WNFN/NASHVILLE's JOE BREEZY; K-LOVE nationally syndicated host SKIP MAHAFFEY; and WQMX/AKRON's SUE WILSON.
