Jos Roozen, Co-Host Of 'Garden Sense,' Dies At 70

JOHANNES "JOS" ROOZEN, the host of "GARDEN SENSE" on CUMULUS News-Talk WMAL-A-F/WASHINGTON and in syndication, passed away FEBRUARY 8th at the age of 70. The owner of ROOZEN NURSERY in FORT WASHINGTON, MD co-hosted "GARDEN SENSE" with RICK FOWLER. The show airs on stations in NEW YORK, PHILADELPHIA, CHICAGO, ATLANTA, KANSAS CITY, BOSTON, and several other markets.
ROOZEN started in the media as a producer on longtime WTOP/WASHINGTON gardening expert JACK EDEN's TV show, then began the WMAL show in 1999.
Visitation is TODAY (2/15) 6-8p (ET) at LEE FUNERAL HOME in CLINTON, MD, with a funeral service at the same location TOMORROW at 10a and a graveside service at noon TOMORROW at RESURRECTION CEMETERY in CLINTON.
