Emmis/St. Louis Selloff To Fetch $60 Million

It's official, as the previously-reported sell-off of EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS' ST. LOUIS stations now have prices attached: ENTERCOM has announced that it is paying $15 million for News-Talk KFTK (FM NEWSTALK 97.1 FM) and Hot AC KNOU (96.3 NOW FM)/ST. LOUIS, and HUBBARD RADIO will pay $45 million for Classic Rock KSHE and Alternative KPNT (105.7 THE POINT).
The deals have yet to appear in the FCC database; the buyers will take over the stations via LMAs on MARCH 1st. As reported yesterday, EMMIS/ST. LOUIS DOS/GSM BECKY DOMYAN is taking over as SVP/Market Manager of the ENTERCOM ST. LOUIS cluster as of MARCH 1st, replacing JOHN SHEEHAN (NET NEWS 2/22).
In deals filed with the FCC, MORTENSON BROADCASTING COMPANY OF WEST VIRGINIA, LLC is selling Southern Gospel WYSN-A (SPIRIT 1200), Southern Gospel WEMM-F (GOSPEL 107.9), and W237ER/HUNTINGTON, WV to BRISTOL BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $2.5 million.
The price by which CHERRY CREEK MEDIA's CCR-LAMAR IV, LLC is selling Classic Country KLMR-A and Classic Rock KLMR-F (93.5 THE CURVE)/LAMAR, CO and its CCR-LA JUNTA IV, LLC is selling Oldies KBLJ-A and Country KTHN (THUNDER COUNTRY)/LA JUNTA, CO to AARON LEIKER's 25-7 MEDIA, INC. is $400,000. The price was not disclosed when the deal was recently announced.
INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY RADIO, INC. is selling K251CL/CHUBBUCK, ID to TED AUSTIN's SNAKE RIVER RADIO, LLC for payment of filing fees as part of the separately-filed and recently closed sale of primary station Religion KRTK-A (CROSS TALK 1490)/CHUBBUCK-POCATELLO, ID to the same buyer.
COLORADO RADIO MARKETING LLC has requested a Silent STA for K272AI/GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO due to equipment failure.
CONTINENTAL BROADCASTING has filed for a Silent STA for low power FM KWJZ-LP/HIGH ROCK, WA so it can remove its equipment to relocate at a new site.
TORRES MEDIA GROUP has applied for a Silent STA for KWXW/KERMIT, TX pending sale and move.
JAVIER FLORES has asked for a Silent STA for K282BF/ODESSA, TX pending sale.
And THE KBOO FOUNDATION has closed on the sale of K264AA/SALEM, OR to WILLAMETTE INFORMATION, NEWS, AND ENTERTAINMENT SERVICE for $18,000. The translator rebroadcasts the buyer's noncommercial Variety KMUZ/TURNER, OR.
