iHeartMedia/Chicago Unveils New Partnership Push

iHEARTMEDIA/CHICAGO has introduced 21 new community partners and unveiled this year’s community partnership theme – “Education Unlocks the Future” – during the iHEARTMEDIA/CHICAGO Community Partnership Networking Luncheon featuring CHICAGO’s business and community leaders and community partners. The partnerships will stretch across the entire cluster, which includes Country WEBG (BIG 95.5), Urban WGCI, Top 40 WKSC (103.5 KISS-FM), Urban AC WVAZ (V103), Gospel WGRB (Inspiration 1390 AM), and AC WLIT (93.9 THE LITE).
“We were honored to host this networking luncheon, which included a tour of our studios, resulting in even more collaborative partnerships and opportunities to showcase the great work of our partners,” said iHEARTMEDIA MARKETS GROUP/CHICAGO Region SVP/Communications ANGELA T. iHEARTMEDIA/CHICAGO’s 2018 community partners all fall under the education-themed umbrella of music, literacy, health, financial, employment, and entrepreneurship. The partners include: NORTH LAWNDALE EMPLOYMENT NETWORK; COLLEGE BOARD; CHICAGO CHILDREN’S CHOIR; CHICAGO URBAN LEAGUE; CARA CHICAGO; OPEN BOOKS; LURIE CHILDREN’S HEALTHY COMMUNITIES; EMBARC CHICAGO; AFTER SCHOOL MATTERS; GIFT OF HOPE; LIFESOURCE; EDEN GARDEN PLACE NATURE CENTER; LADIES OF VIRTUE; LATINO POLICY FORUM; JOURNEY’S DREAM; CHICAGO YOUTH PROGRAMS; 100 BLACK MEN OF CHICAGO; GIVENKIND; DRESS FOR SUCCESS; KIDS OFF THE BLOCK; and SCOTT JOPLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
