SYML Performs For XETRA-F (91X)/San Diego's 'Inspired By Music' Series

LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XETRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO have lined up the second concert in the “INSPIRED BY MUSIC,” series (NET NEWS, 2/17); it will be headlined by SYML with SHANE HALL on APRIL 26th at the MUSIC BOX downtown. SYML is the solo project of BRIAN FENNEL, lead singer of the indie rock band BARCELONA.

The “Inspired By Music” series donates $1 per ticket sold to a grant program operated by the SAN DIEGO COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION, to support education utilizing music as part of the curriculum. Funds raised will be available to teachers from SAN DIEGO COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

“Last night’s inaugural show with LOVELYTHEBAND and ALMOST MONDAY was a great way to kick off the Inspired By Music Series, and we’re looking forward to seeing SYML next,” 91X PD GARETT MICHAELS said. “We’re proud to support education in our schools, by introducing San Diegans to exciting new artists, while highlighting the local music scene.”
