TrafficCarma To Provide On-Demand Traffic Information Via AirKast Apps

TRAFFICCAST INTERNATIONAL's TRAFFICCARMA will be providing on-demand traffic information to over 800 radio stations in NORTH AMERICA under a new distribution agreement with AIRKAST INC., a mobile app developer for broadcasters and media companies.

We believe a station’s broadcast reports along with TRAFFICCARMA’s mobile traffic widget via AIRKAST are a powerful combination that will differentiate the station app and will provide users with on- demand information they’ve now come to expect”, said TRAFFICCARMA EVP/GM SIL SCAGLIONE. “Since both AIRKAST and TRAFFICCARMA specifically serve the mobile content needs of broadcasters, it made total sense for us to come together to offer this service. We’re thrilled to partner with the AIRKAST team in order to deliver this suite of services and the associated new revenue opportunities for the stations.”
