BENZTOWN-syndicated SUNDAY NIGHT SLOW JAMS host and and XHTZ-XHRM/San Diego Dir./Programming R DUB! has just set foot in his 100th country -- IRAQ. R DUB! is currently on a mission to see all 193 countries of the world. The 100th country-milestone was marked by a celebration with locals in IRAQ and the presentation of a certificate and membership from the “Travelers’ Century Club.”
R DUB! has also launched a new podcast called “Destination 193,” where he shares the sights, sounds and stories of every country on the planet. “Destination 193” can be heard at: http://www.magic925.com/deStination-193/ or anywhere podcasts are available. Featured episodes include stories of R Dub!’s travels to NORTH KOREA, LIBYA, VENEZUELA and SOUTH SUDAN.
"Congratulations on reaching the milestone of traveling to 100 countries!" TRAVELERS’ CENTURY CLUB Pres. JOANN SCHWARTZ said. "You are now a member of the TRAVELERS’ CENTURY CLUB and we are very happy that you have decided to join our organization. As a member, you are now welcome to attend the events of and are welcome at any of the twenty-five chapters the club has worldwide. We hope to see you there and hear about and encourage your travels as you move on to reach your next milestones. Welcome to the Club!"
"Since commencing this mission to see every country in the world, my life has never been the same," R DUB! said. "This journey has opened up my heart and mind in ways I will never be able to put into words. I am so thankful to be a part of these amazing experiences: visiting so many far-off lands and connecting with people all over the world -- including many places most would never consider traveling to. I'm so happy to say that many of these counties aren't just what you see on the news; actually travelling to these destinations allows one to see everyday life: the families, the cultures, commerce, and every little delightful idiosyncrasy that makes every country special. What a beautiful world we live in. I travel the world to take photos, make memories and leave smiles."
