BRIGHTER MEDIA GROUP CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN WRBS (95.1 SHINE-FM)/BALTIMORE announces the promotion of JOHN LAWHON to PD and DAVE PAUL to DIR. OF RESEARCH AND ON-AIR FUNDRAISING today.

"I couldn't be happier for our organization and for JOHN and DAVE," says BRIGHTER MEDIA GROUP GM STEVE LAWHON. "JOHN is an oustanding programmer and DAVE's move aligns his experience and talent with what we need to reach even more people."

JOHN LAWHON has been on staff at 95.1 SHINE-FM for eight years and has been APD/MD since 2015. He will continue to host MIDDAYS 10a-3p.

"For the past 54 years, God has been writing an amazing story in BALTIMORE through this radio station," says JOHN LAWHON. "I've had a front row seat to its growth, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help reach more people with the love of Jesus."

PAUL adds, "As excited as I am about my new opportunities, I'm even more excited about JOHN becoming PD. The future of SHINE-FM and radio is brighter today!"

PAUL, celebrating over 30 years at 95.1 SHINE-FM, will direct all aspects of on-air fundraising across all BRIGHTER MEDIA GROUP platforms. Additionally, he will direct research and analysis for BRIGHTER MEDIA GROUP. He will remain on-air during the mornings with TRACEY AND DAVE from 5a-10a.
