Entertainment law firm SERLING, ROOKS, HUNTER, MCKOY & WOROB has appointed CRAIG AVERILL as a name partner, and will change its name to SERLING, ROOKS, HUNTER, MCKOY, WOROB & AVERILL LLP. In addition to the name change, the firm (SRHMWA) has promoted attorneys PATRICK SABATINI and JEFFREY KOENIG to partners and is reestablishing a NASHVILLE office, with three attorneys initially, to be co-headed by SABATINI and partner J. REID HUNTER.
"It is well deserved for CRAIG to become a name partner," said Founder/Senior Partner, JOE SERLING. "From the time CRAIG became involved with our firm, he has contributed enormously to its growth and organization, and I only foresee continued growth in the future."
SRHMWA's expansion to NASHVILLE follows a natural evolution of the firm as they already represent a wide cross-section of talent and corporate clients closely associated with MUSIC ROW and beyond. Current NASHVILLE-based clients include ZAC BROWN's SOUTHERN GROUND STUDIOS, JAMEY JOHNSON, RIVER HOUSE ARTISTS, JASON ISBELL, WHITE'S MERCANTILE , CURB RECORDS, WORD RECORDS, the KINKHEAD ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY, and JUDAH & THE LION. In addition, the firm represents the estates of COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME artists JERRY REED, MEL TILLIS, DON WILLIAMS, and DOTTIE WEST, as well as several legacy Country artists such as JOHN ANDERSON.
