More New Podcasts Join Rosters At Midroll Media's Earwolf, Stitcher, Stitcher Premium

MIDROLL MEDIA's EARWOLF, STITCHER, and STITCHER PREMIUM podcast networks have announced the addition of six new shows.
Comic PAUL SCHEER, also the co-host of EARWOLF's "HOW DID THIS GET MADE?," will be co-hosting another movie-themed podcast, this one "UNSPOOLED," a look at the AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE's 100 greatest movies of all time, with film critic AMY NICHOLSON co-hosting. The new show launches on EARWOLF MAY 17th.
Actor/comedian MICHAEL IAN BLACK is the creator of "OBSCURE," starting JUNE 8th on EARWOLF, on which he reads and comments (with guests) on every line of THOMAS HARDY's novel "JUDE THE OBSCURE." BLACK, the former member of comedy troupe THE STATE, previously co-hosted "MIKE AND TOM EAT SNACKS" with actor TOM CAVANAGH and currently hosts "HOW TO BE AMAZING WITH MICHAEL IAN BLACK" for PRX.
STITCHER is adding a scripted show, "GOSSIP," a comic soap opera with a cast including author ALLISON RASKIN, AMANDA PEREZ, BETH LITTLEFORD, LIKAN BOWDEN, and VICTORIA ROWELL. The show debuts JUNE 14th, with the full season released that day to STITCHER PREMIUM subscribers and individual episodes posted on a weekly basis on other free platforms.
STITCHER PREMIUM is adding three shows, one already available. The show currently streaming exclusively on the platform is a collaboration between comedians and podcasters SCOTT AUKERMAN, LAUREN LAPKUS, and PAUL F. TOMPKINS, "THREEDOM," which will be made available on other platforms this FALL. Also being added to the subscription service is "JOHN LEVENSTEIN'S RETIREMENT PARTY," co-hosted by MARY KOBAYASHI and posting 10 episodes starting MAY 9th, and MATT MCCONKEY's adoption show "LOST & FOUND," premiering MAY 23rd.
