Mike Kaplan Named SVP/Programming, Christine Malovetz Grabs Middays At WBMP (ALT 92.3)/New York

There's a new resident in the programming chair at ENTERCOM Alternative WBMP (ALT 92.3)/NEW YORK, as the station has tapped MIKE KAPLAN as SVP/Programming.
In addition, CHRISTINE MALOVETZ will join ALT 92.3 as midday host starting today.

KAPLAN joins ENTERCOM from IHEARTMEDIA Alternative KYSR (ALT 98.7)/LOS ANGELES where he spent the past four years. Prior to programming in L.A., he was PD for ENTERCOM Alternative KNDD (107.7 THE END)/SEATTLE and KRBZ (96.5 THE BUZZ)/KANSAS CITY.
MALOVETZ was most recently APD/MD/middaays for EMMIS-now ENTERCOM Hot AC KNOU (NOW 96.3)/ST. LOUIS. Prior to NOW 96.3, she previously worked at Alternative WKQX (Q101)/CHICAGO, WPLY (Y100)/PHILADELPHIA and WBTZ (99.9 THE BUZZ)/BURLINGTON, VT, where she was known as "ELECTRA."
