Syndicated talk host ALEX JONES' conspiracy theories have landed him in legal trouble again, with a second defamation suit filed against him by families of the victims of the SANDY HOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL mass murder, reports CNN. The new suit was filed against JONES and others by relatives of six victims (four students and two teachers) as well as an FBI agent in CONNECTICUT Superior Court in BRIDGEPORT on WEDNESDAY (5/24). A previous suit was filed against JONES last month in his home base of TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS.
The suit, which alleges JONES does not really believe the 2012 shooting by ADAM LANZA was a hoax yet still accused the families of victims of faking the deaths, was filed against JONES, his associates WOLFGANG HALBIG and CORY SKLANKA, his radio syndicator GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK, and sponsor MIDAS RESOURCES.
JONES, on his radio show and INFOWARS site, has alleged that the shootings at the NEWTOWN, CT school were a hoax, although he claimed on his show WEDNESDAY that the plaintiff's allegations were "out of context" and part of an attack on the First Amendment, and claimed that the suit was "defamation against me" and "disinformation."
Twenty children and six adults died in the attack.
