Podtrac Releases April Rankers Of Top 20 Podcasts, Publishers

PODTRAC has released its APRIL 2018 ranking of the Top 20 podcasts and top 10 publishers.

On the Top 20 Podcasts list, RADIOLAB and TED RADIO HOUR rebounded to move up from 9th and 8th, respectively, to 4th and 5th; 99% INVISIBLE returned to the list in 20th place as ATLANTA MONSTER fell off the Top 20.

The complete APRIL list (with the usual caveat that the rankings are determined by a proprietary PODTRAC algorithm that tracks shows using the system but tracks others only with "publicly available data," which may not include all podcasts):

The Top 10 podcast publishers remained the same as in MARCH, with the top three remaining in place and THE NEW YORK TIMES showing a 15% gain to move from 8th to 6th place. Total global unique streams and downloads for the top 10 publishers was down 2% from MARCH and rose 75% year-to-year.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
