Podcast network CADENCE13 is partnering with UNITED TALENT AGENCY to create a new podcast network, RAMBLE, which will focus on podcasts hosted by "digital talent" (such as YouTube celebrities) include extensions of podcasts and talent into social media, events and merchandising. Among the shows being moved under the RAMBLE umbrella are RHETT AND LINK’s EAR BISCUITS, #VIRAL WITH NATALIE ALZATE, CURIOUS WITH JOSH PECK, HANNAH HART’s HANNAHLYZE THIS, and FLULA BORG’S BOOM TIME.
“RAMBLE is going to be an incredibly exciting hub for the fans of these digital stars, by expanding their audiences into original podcast content in a very authentic and relatable way,” said CADENCE13 Chief Content Officer CHRIS CORCORAN. “RAMBLE will be a community of digital stars that core fans will want to feel and be a part of, as well as a discovery platform to find new fans.”
“As we evaluated the podcast business landscape, we noticed there wasn’t a singular home for digital talent,” said UTA's OREN ROSENBAUM. “CADENCE13 was one of the first podcast networks to understand the intrinsic value of digital talent and will be the perfect partner as we continue to build out this unique platform with more creators.”
UTA's podcast division represents networks like WONDERY, TENDERFOOT, HOWSTUFFWORKS, and the GANNETT newspapers as well as podcast creators like IRA GLASS ("THIS AMERICAN LIFE"), SARAH KOENIG ("SERIAL"), AARON MAHNKE ("LORE"), ANNA FARIS ("ANNA FARIS IS UNQUALIFIED"), and KAREN KILGARIFF and GEORGIA HARDSTARK ("MY FAVORITE MURDER"). It has also snared TV deals and live event tours for "2 DOPE QUEENS," "MY FAVORITE MURDER," "LORE," and "COMEDY BANG BANG" and brokered AMY SCHUMER's podcast deal with SPOTIFY.
