Francis Broadhurst, Cape Cod Radio News Commentator And Newspaper Columnist, Dies At 82

Condolences to family and friends of CAPE COD radio and newspaper commentator FRANCIS IAN BROADHURST, who died JULY 5th at 82.  He had been battling Parkinson's disease.

BROADHURST served as News Director and provided conservative commentaries '' "THE BROADHURST REPORTS" -- to WQRC/HYANNIS in 1970-84 and wrote for the HOLYOKE TRANSCRIPT, CAPE COD STANDARD TIMES/CAPE COD TIMES, and BOSTON HERALD-TRAVELER before writing columns for the CAPE COD TIMES; he also served as Press Secretary to Rep. KEITH HASTINGS (R-MA) in 1970.
