SiriusXM MLB All-Star Coverage To Include 'Town Hall' With Commissioner Rob Manfred

SIRIUSXM's coverage of MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL's 2018 All-Star Week in WASHINGTON will include a "SIRIUSXM TOWN HALL" broadcast with MLB Commissioner ROB MANFRED along with the usual play-by-play coverage.

MANFRED will sit down with SIRIUSXM MAD DOG RADIO and MLB NETWORK's CHRISTOPHER "MD DOG" RUSSO for the special, which will be taped at the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS and aired on MONDAY (7/16) at 1p (ET) on MLB NETWORK RADIO.  The channel will also air its annual mid-season roundtable show on SATURDAY (7/14), with this year's panel including EDUARDO PEREZ, JIM DUQUETTE, STEVE PHILLIPS, JIM BOWDEN, MIKE FERRIN, CASEY STERN, and GRANT PAULSEN; on WEDNESDAY, JULY 18th, the channel will air a special on the history of the MONTREAL EXPOS/WASHINGTON NATIONALS franchise, hosted by FERRIN and featuring commentary from Hall of Famer TIM RAINES, BUCK RODGERS, DAN DUQUETTE, KEVIN MALONE, KEVIN KENNEDY, and PETER GAMMONS.  And RUSSO will host his "MAD DOG UNLEASHED" on MAD DOG RADIO from NATIONALS PARK on MONDAY and TUESDAY.

Besides airing ESPN RADIO's national play-by-play of the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby (with exclusive pre- and post-game coverage hosted by STERN, BOWDEN, DUQUETTE, and MATT DIAZ), MLB NETWORK RADIO will air exclusive coverage of the All-Star Futures Game on SUNDAY with FERRIN and DUQUETTE on the call and BOWDEN and PAULSEN reporting from the dugouts.
