Nashville Music Publisher Jeff Carlton Passes Away

ALL ACCESS extends condolences to family, friends, and former colleagues of longtime NASHVILLE-based music publisher JEFF CARLTON, who passed away on MONDAY, AUGUST 20th. He was 66.
CARLTON spent more than 30 years in the NASHVILLE music publishing industry and was noted for championing songwriters including LEE THOMAS MILLER, MONTY CRISWELL, TONY MARTIN, and others. His resume includes career stops at WILLN' DAVID MUSIC, STROUDAVARIOUS MUSIC, HAMSTEIN MUSIC, BIGGER PICTURE, VIBE ROOM MUSIC, THIS MUSIC, PARALLEL ENTERTAINMENT PUBLISHING, and TAPE ROOM MUSIC in various roles. CARLTON was a member of the LEADERSHIP MUSIC Class Of 1997 and was honored with the NSAI's President's Award in 2016. Earlier this year, CARLTON was presented with the AIMP NASHVILLE Independent Spirit Award.
