'52nd Annual CMA Awards' Nominees Revealed

"Country's Biggest Night"

CAPITOL NASHVILLE's LUKE BRYAN, BIG MACHINE's SUGARLAND, and WARNER BROS./WAR's DAN + SHAY teamed up on ABC-TV's "Good Morning AMERICA" today (8/28), to announce nominees for the "52ND ANNUAL COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) AWARDS" set for WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14th at NASHVILLE's BRIDGESTONE AREA. The show will once again be co-hosted by CARRIE UNDERWOOD and BRAD PAISLEY.

MERCURY NASHVILLE's CHRIS STAPLETON led all nominees with five; nine other artists grabbed three nods, including BROKEN BOW's JASON ALDEAN, CAPITOL NASHVILLE's DIERKS BENTLEY, WARNER BROS./WAR's DAN + SHAY, BMLG RECORDS' FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, WARNER BROS./WAR's CHRIS JANSON, VANNER RECORDS/RCA NASHVILLE's MIRANDA LAMBERT, VALORY MUSIC CO.'s THOMAS RHETT, and CAPITOL NASHVILLE's KEITH URBAN. In addition to the three nominations as part of DAN + SHAY, the duo's DAN SMYERS also earned nods for Song Of The Year as a Co-Writer and Producer for "Tequila;" those two give him five personal nominations, unofficially tying STAPLETON on the leader board.
