Royce Risser Rises To EVP/Promotion At UMG Nashville

UMG NASHVILLE has upped ROYCE RISSER to EVP/Promotion for the label group, which includes CAPITOL RECORDS NASHVILLE, EMI RECORDS NASHVILLE, MERCURY NASHVILLE, and MCA NASHVILLE. Previously SVP/Promotion, RISSER will continue to oversee promotion initiatives for the entire UMG NASHVILLE roster of artists. RISSER joined MCA RECORDS in 1991 as an intern before moving to a full-time position as Asst./Promotion. RISSER went on to serve as Dir./NORTHEAST Regional Promotion, Dir./National Promotion, and VP/Promotion before assuming the role of UMG NASHVILLE SVP/Promotion in 2007 (NET NEWS 12/7/07).
