Kudos to ARISTA NASHVILLE's flagship staff, known as "THE REFUGEES," and SEA GAYLE MUSIC, which raised more than $100,000 for the MIKE OWENS FAMILY TRUST during their "MUSIC FOR MIKE" benefit show that took place TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th at NASHVILLE's WAR MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM. The evening featured performances by ALAN JACKSON, KIX BROOKS OF BROOKS & DUNN, BRAD PAISLEY, BLACKHAWK, DIAMOND RIO, LEE ROY PARNELL, PAM TILLIS, PHIL VASSAR, and STEVE WARINER to raise money for the family of industry vet MIKE OWENS, who passed away in SEPTEMBER after battling End Stage Renal Disease (NET NEWS 9/4).
“It was an incredible night of talent supported by a loving record label family," noted ARISTA NASHVILLE's original label Pres. TIM DUBOIS. "MIKE was celebrated and remembered in the best way we knew how -- with the music he loved and believed in.” Donations are still being accepted on OWENS' GOFUNDME PAGE here.
